Internet Safety for Children

YouTube created a video to teach families to keep their children safe online. I think we can all learn something from this video.

"Personal is Personal", "Think before you post", "Respect yourself"... I always say "the Virtual World is just like the Real World". If you tell your children not to talk to a stranger IRL (in real life), you should also address this issue in terms of Internet and SMS (texting).

The 5 Secrets

I love watching cartoons. One of my favorites is Kung Fu Panda; it is a collection of wonderful insight and lessons about wisdom.

Kung Fu, it teaches, is about "Excellence of Self" and "being the best you can be". I think that is what life itself is all about.

The Blue Jean CEO Tricia Mischler on My Wired Style

I had an opportunity to meet Tricia at a business meeting in Dallas last month.
She is a smart lady!
It was great to meet and chat with, she is helping people develop their own businesses.
It was an honor to sow into her business and her life with My Wired Style!
It is wonderful to have lovely messages like this.
So to all of you who sow into someone else's life and business too....Thank You!

I'm an ANT!!!

Everyone knows I love technology. My wonderful friend Gary Woltal once called me a "Techno-Goddess"; I think I am more of a "Techno-Geek-ess". One of the reasons I love it most is because I can keep in touch with my loved ones in the Dominican Republic instantly and frequently.

I have been chatting on the Yahoo! Messenger with my Fifteen-year-old brother, Eniel, for the past 3 nights and it has been a blast. He is adorable and I am so lucky to have him in my life and I am proud of him.

I didn'… Continue

Remember Who You Are

As women, and specially as mothers, we are sometimes forced required to wear many hats and, in the midst of all we do, it is often very easy to forget who we truly are. I have experienced it first hand.

We become an extension of someone else and live the life they want us to live. We lose our spark because events or circumstances bring us down, people hurt us and things seem to go wrong. We forget who we are.

I found this fragment by Rachel Snyder and I felt compelled to share it with a… Continue
